What is Equine Assisted Psychotherapy/Learning (EAP/L)
Equine Assisted Psychotherapy/
Learning(EAP/L) can be used to help individuals and families develop their own
solutions to “Life’s Obstacles.” * The EAP/L team consists of a mental health
professional, a horse professional and horses working together with
individuals, families or groups to help them identify what is going on and
develop their own solutions to how they are responding to the real life
situation or struggle. Equine Assisted Psychotherapy/Learning activities are great for communication and team building
for organizations as well as families. Great for youth at risk, addictions, relationships, disabled, mental
health, reunification, autistic children, military, eating disorders, divorce,
grief and loss, etc. Sholeh is a Certified Equine Assisted Psychotherapy Horse Professional through the EAGALA organization.
